HSI Group Inc. provides comprehensive inspection and Nondestructive Examination (NDE) services to the oil and gas, petrochemical, pipeline/terminal, and power generation industries. These inspection and engineering services are deployed in industry utilizing guidelines under API, ASME, ANSI and EN Programs.

Inspection Services Overview

The Company offers a suite of services which combine advanced NDE technologies and highly qualified and experienced management and personnel. Utilizing proprietary technology and procedures HSI offers proven solutions to plant owners and operators, who wish to establish component condition and its remaining useful life. Specific areas of expertise are the evaluation of pressure equipment in high temperature service, piping, and vessels subject to corrosion under insulation and fireproofing (CUI/CUF), fabrication NDE and inspection of heavy structures and weldments.

Company History

HSI Company History dates back to the formation of IESCO by founder Brian Shannon. The HSCAN Technology division within IESCO was separated into a separate company HSI, initially focused on bringing comprehensive services offerings to operators of Hydrogen and Syngas plants worldwide.

Since 2016, HSI has re-entered the full scope of Advanced Inspection and related Engineering services to clients both in North America and Globally.

From its corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, California, HSI prides itself on offering state of the art technology coupled with professional expertise in materials engineering and optimized field services.

HSI is staffed by professional engineers and managers with a combined 300 + years in the inspection and related engineering areas. As of 2017 a total of eighty-five people are employed in inspection, data management, RBI and advanced NDE services.
